After attending
Chelsea School of Art, London, Olivia Ward relocated to New York City in 1993.
Since then, she has worked with animation studios such as, MTV, Disney, Scholastic
and Ink Tank. Contributing to a variety of shows including, "Beavis and
Butt-head," "Daria," "Clifford's
Puppy Days" and "The Head". In 1995 her animated ID spot "Gluttony"
won her a Gold Broadcast Design Award, and continues to gather acclaim to
this date.
In 1996 Olivia took time off to attend the New York Film Academy. She emerged
with three independent films. Her seven minute short "Hot Dog Man",
is a parody of the classic 1976 movie, "Taxi Driver," This was her
contribution to the 20 year anniversary of the original film release.
The 33 year old Director, has completed ten commercials for the "Oxy"
TV campaign working with the advertising agency Arnold Worldwide, and the
New York based animation house, Rouge Creative. In addition Ward has designs
the characters for the ongoing "Cotton"
print campaign (Ogilvy and Mather). Furthermore, Ward is in negotiations to
develop her own series with Scholastic Entertainment (New York City).
